A beautiful Seaside location, a passion for making excellent wines and and abundance of natural beauty combine to allow the design elements of this site to form naturally. The selling points: Pender Island, Seaside Vineyard, extraordinary local wines and a remarkable event space bubbled to the top and are the sites’ main messages.
The crafty-looking labels were a natural starting point for each wine’s own page and make terrific graphic elements all on their own.
We introduced a little interaction with the homepage wine labels: a mouseover causes the icon to enlarge and colours the icon with an approximation of the wine’s colour.
Banners allow us to comment on the status of each wine, including “Sold Out”, “Coming Spring 2015” and more.
Where to buy
As a new vineyard, you are certainly concerned about sales and helping people to find your wine. SeaStar had an excellent launch with the wines being carried by wine and liquor stores and at many of the most exclusive restaurants in the city. We needed an easy way to let customers know where to buy these delicious wines, you can see our approach here.
